Pink Champagne Cocktail

Pretty pink cocktails perfect for celebrating! Pink Champagne Cocktails are easy to make with only 3 ingredients.

½ ounce vodka
3 ounces pink champagne, chilled
cranberry gingerale, chilled (see note)
strawberry or sugared cranberry garnish (optional)

1. Pour the vodka in the bottom of a champagne flute.
2. Top it with the chilled pink champagne.
3. Fill the glass the rest of the way with the cranberry gingerale. Garnish with a strawberry or sugared cranberry

So in Celebration of our Best Selling Pink Champagne Fragrance we decided to feature yummy Green Apples for our November recipe of the month. Below is a scrumptious and super good for you green apple and spinach smoothie recipe. Don't worry if you aren't a spinach fan, the apple takes away that taste and just leave the yummy nutritional value. If you want it a little sweeter try vanilla yogurt, vanilla coconut milk, or just add a little sugar.

Green Apple + Spinach Smoothie

Have you tried green smoothies? They are healthy and refreshing. The great thing about green smoothies is that you can add a lot of green to your diet without eating salad. I love salads, but sometimes variety is good! I've also known a lot of people who don't like salad who love green smoothies! They're a treat!
Needed: 1 lime, coconut milk,1 granny smith apple, baby spinach, yogurt, ice cubes. Optional: mint leaves.
Directions: For the green layer mix 2 cups spinach (2 giant handfuls works), 1/2 cup coconut milk, 4 ice cubes, 1/2 a granny smith apple (chopped) and the juice of 1 lime. Blend together and add to cup. Rinse your blender and then combine 1/4 cup coconut milk, 1/2 cup yogurt (green yogurt or vanilla yogurt work great), 1/2 a granny smith apple (chopped) and 2-5 fresh mint leaves if you like mint! Blend, add to your glass and garnish with an apple slice.
Note: This smoothie is refreshing and a little tart. If you like your smoothies extra sweet, try adding a little sugar to each layer before blending. Spinach is the easiest green to blend in a sweeter smoothie, but if you don't mind the "green" taste try baby kale next time!

JAQUA Recipe of the Month- June ( Yay! Memorial Day) 2017

It's Memorial Day! Let's Celebrate!

You will LOVE these Lemon Drop Martini CupCakes With Lemon Drop Vodka Frosting!

OMG!!!!  Yum Yum Yum!!!!!


For the vanilla lemon cupcakes
1 cup butter, at room temperature
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
2 teaspoons grated lemon peel
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups sour cream
For the vodka lemon frosting
3 tablespoons butter, at room temperature
2 1/4 cups confectioners' sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon grated lemon peel
1 tablespoon vodka

Preheat oven to 350F. Line a standard sized muffin pan with liners.
In the mixing bowl of your stand mixer, cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add lemon peel and vanilla; mix well. Combine dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream (batter will be thick). Fill cupcake liners 3/4 full and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

To make the frosting, cream butter and sugar in a small mixing bowl. Add lemon juice, vanilla, lemon peel and vodka; beat until smooth. Frost cupcakes and garnish. :-)

JAQUA Recipe of the Month- March ( Yay! Spring) 2017

Jaqua’s recipe of the month is sure to please! March is the month of turning back our clocks and celebrating the start of spring. This recipe is the perfect way to say goodbye to winter and hello spring. Rejuvenate your skin and your senses with this all natural body scrub.

You need: 
1 medium cucumber, peeled and grated
1 cup buttermilk
½ cup sea salt

• Mix the cucumber and buttermilk in a small bowl
• Add salt and mix into a thick paste
• take a warm shower, allowing the heat to open your pores
• Apply the scrub, paying special attention to your dry areas, then rinse (Salt can irritate freshly shaved skin, so always use before shaving.)

The salt and the buttermilk in this scrub will act as exfoliators for your skin and the cucumber will refresh and cool your skin. This all natural scrub can be used once a week.

So why not take some time and celebrate yourself. This perfect easy Strawberry face mask will give you a little extra lift.
Lighten, Brighten, & Tighten Naturally.


Yummy Month of LOVE Homemade Strawberry Mask

  • 8 - 9 Fresh strawberries

  • 2 Tablespoon of honey

  • 1 Tablespoon of oil - Extra virgin olive, jojoba, grapeseed or sweet almond oil

  • Few drops of fresh lemon juice - About 8 drops if you have dry skin and up to 1 tablespoon for oily skin.

In a bowl, mash the strawberries with a fork until smooth. Stir in the honey, oil, and lemon juice until all the ingredients are well-incorporated. Using clean hands or a sanitized brush, gently apply the mixture all over your face, avoiding the eye area. Lie down and leave the mask on for 5 minutes. Wash it away with warm water, pat your face dry and follow up with your favorite toner and moisturizer.

Easy Peasy Honey Hibiscus Hair Mask

January is Easy Peasy Month in our book. We do not want to start the year out with super hard stuff! So our friends at Essential Wholesale posted this spectacularly easy recipe for a luscious hair mask today, so we thought we would share with all of you.

We all know Honey is a sweet luscious natural humectant full of antioxidants and nutrients to help moisturize your hair and scalp, but did you know Hibiscus has long been used by Indian women to give hair shine, bounce and lessen frizz, so not only is it a spectacular color but it smells great and does great things for your hair!.  Avocado Oil is also well known as a nourishing oil for both scalp and hair helping to add luster and prevent hair breakage and split ends.

The combination is earth shattering!

Equipment You’ll Need
• Mixing Bowl
• Measuring Cups
• Measuring Spoons
• Whisk

• 2 Cups - Aloe Jelly - http://ewlnatur.al/aloejelly

Coconut is a favorite with the gals and guys:-) around the JAQUA office. We all know Coconut is a universal natural "miracle" nut. You can use it for so many different things. And hence the reason we love to use it in all of our products! 

We are currently in the process of testing out own new sugar scrub. But in the meantime we wanted to share this yummy DYI recipe from our friends at www.hqorganics.com so you can get a jump start. And what a fun project to share with friends and family on a cold wintry day.

Homemade Organic Spiced Vanilla Coconut Body Scrub

1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup vanilla infused coconut oil
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 teaspoons ginger
2 teaspoons nutmeg

To make the coconut infusion: Heat 1/2 cup coconut oil on the stove just to melt and warm it. Cut a vanilla bean down the center, making not to cut all the way through, open and scrape out the seeds with a spoon. Add the seeds to the warm oil and infuse on medium heat for an hour. Remove from heat and allow to cool.

No coconut oil or vanilla beans in the pantry? Use another oil (almond is nice but olive oil could be used in a pinch) and use 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract.

Simply combine the ingredients with a hand mixer and spoon into little jars for gift-giving or your own personal enjoyment.

JAQUA Recipe of The Month- October 2016

We are celebrating Breast Cancer Awareness month with one of our favorite "Pink" recipes...
We love love love our pretty pink sparkly 
Blackberry Thyme Sparkler 
 It is perfect for any occasion.
You can also substitute Champagne for Sparkling Grape, Apple Juice or Sparkling Water..
Makes 4 Cocktails.
What you need :-) 
1 c. blackberries + 8 more for garnish
1 c. Water
1 c. sugar
1 bottle of champagne
4 ounces or 1/2 c. gin
4 long sprigs of thyme
1 c. ice
gold baking sugar for the rim
In a small saucepan, bring blackberries, water, and sugar to a boil.  Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, until the blackberries are soft and the simple syrup has turned to a bright pink/redish color. Remove from heat, drain blackberries, and allow to cool.  This step can be done well in advance as the syrup will keep for at least a week in the refrigerator.
Prepare your champagne glasses.
 Okay, so here is a dirty little secret of getting those beautiful salts and sugars to stay atop the rim: butter.  It adheres perfectly and you honestly never taste it. Place the tiniest amount between your fingers and rub just around the rim of the glass before dipping the glass into the gold baking sugar.
Next, begin by adding 1 ounce of gin to each champagne glass.  Next drop two blackberries in each glass, followed by 2 ounces of homemade blackberry simple syrup. Fill the rest of the glass with champagne and top with a sprig of thyme in each glass.

JAQUA Recipe Of the Month-September 2016

Yummy Layered Super Easy Southern Banana Puddling with Wafers
Did you know our Signature Buttercream Frosting fragrance has bottom notes of Banana? 
We love the fragrance of this wonderful super fruit and love to celebrate it year round as much as possible. 



  • 3 cups cold milk
  • 2 pkg. (3.4 oz. each) vanilla instant pudding
  • 30 NILLA Wafers
  • 3 medium bananas, sliced
  • 1 tub (8 oz.) frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • Cinnamon sticks


  • POUR  milk into large bowl. Add dry pudding mixes. Beat with wire whisk 2 min. or until well blended. Let stand 5 min.
  • ARRANGE  wafers on bottom and up side of a serving bowl or mini dishes of your choice. Try jam jars for something unique; top with layers- banana slices and pudding. Repeat all layers. 
  • REFRIGERATE  3 hours.
  • SERVE  add whipped topping and grate cinnamon sticks to sprinkle. Add cinnamon sticks to the side if desired as garnishment for the perfect Fall Treat.
  • Store leftover dessert in refrigerator.

This late-summer melon contains vitamin C, a vital antioxidant for skin-tissue repair. "All melons are vitamin-rich, but honeydew also has a great aroma and  the melon's water content is hydrating for the skin.

Here is what you will need for this simple Summer Recipe.

1/4 Ripe Melon Seeded and Mashed

3 Chopped Mint Leaves

2 Tablespoons ( 1/2 cup) Minced Oats

Mix together the honeydew and mint, then slowly add the oats (minced in a food processor) until you reach a desired consistency.

For your face- Aim for a texture like wet sand,

For your body- A thicker scrub will work best

 Apply in gentle circles, rinse with warm water, and dry.


As with everything, please test in a small area before using. Be responsible for yourself.

Champagne Cupcakes

box Betty Crocker™ SuperMoist™ white cake mix
1 1/4 cups champagne
1/3 cup vegetable oil
egg whites
to 5 drops red food color

Champagne Frosting

1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup champagne
teaspoon vanilla
to 5 drops red food color


Betty Crocker™ Pink decorating sugar

Edible pink pearls




  • 1 Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Place paper baking cup in each of 24 regular-size muffin cups.
  • 2 In large bowl, mix dry cake mix and champagne. Add oil, egg whites and food color. Beat with electric mixer on medium speed 2 minutes. Divide batter evenly among muffin cups.
  • 3 Bake 17 to 22 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.
  • 4 In medium bowl, beat frosting ingredients with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. Frost cupcakes. Sprinkle with garnishes. Store loosely covered.

JAQUA Strawberry Foot Scrub

 Summer feet need a treat!

Summer is in full swing and we bet you have been wearing flip flops and sandals more than ever. Give your feet a treat with JAQUA’s recipe of the month. This Strawberry Foot Scrub smells great and is sure to please.


You need:

8-10 Strawberries

2 Tablespoons of Apricot Oil (can be found in health food stores) or Oilve Oil

1 Teaspoon Coarse salt, such as Kosher or Sea Salt



  • Mix together all ingredients
  • Massage into feet
  • Rinse and pat dry

Strawberry’s main skin-pleasing ingredient is alpha-hydroxy acid, a great little substance that helps us slough off dead skin cells so that new, youthful skin is revealed.
